Danny Damron


Danny is the Internship Instruction & Development Coordinator for the College of Humanities.  He helps students in the College find and successfully complete internships that offer chances to develop working world competencies. He also helps students construct compelling, evidence-based stories about their internship experience that align with future employer needs. He has an MA in Teaching English as a Second Language from the School for International Training and an MA and PhD in Comparative Politics from Purdue University. He has experience leading cross cultural training, teaching ESL, teaching comparative politics of East Asia and democratization as well as directing international internships. In 2011, he was named the Association of International Education Administrators Presidential Fellow and awarded a Fulbright to Korea in 2013.
