Emily S. Darowski is the psychology librarian at the Harold B. Lee Library. Emily recieved her PhD in cognitive psychology from Michigan State University. Her research background is self-regualtion and working memory and its relationship to other higher order cognitive abilities such as reasoning, problem solving, and reading. She is interested in improvinig student writing. With a team of collaborators she developed tutorials to teach students to synthesize their learning when they write. She currently serves on the CID steering committee that oversees use of the collaborative CID library space.
