Scott Eldredge

Scott J. Eldredge is the program manager for digital initiatives at the BYU Harold B. Lee Library. He received his BS with a double major in physical education and history from BYU in 1988 and his MA in history from BYU in 1991. His areas of interest in history include the 19th-century fur trade and exploration of the American West. Since 1996 he has been responsible for building the digital library at BYU and has overseen a variety of projects, including the scanning of ancient papyri, pioneer and missionary diaries, theses and dissertations, family histories, and historical photographs as well as the development of a process for geocoding digitized maps, photographs, and diaries.
